Legal Notice
Account Ownership Policy
Effective date: July 15, 2026. This policy explains how LOJ Alliances identifies account owners, handles ownership changes, and manages disputes related to hosted pages, services, and customer accounts.
Default Account Owner
Unless LOJ Alliances agrees otherwise in writing, the person or organization that orders and pays for a service is treated as the account owner. The account owner is responsible for approvals, payment, content direction, update requests, and account communications.
Alliance Representatives
An alliance leader, officer, or representative may request services for an alliance. LOJ Alliances may rely on the instructions of the ordering representative unless we receive a credible dispute, conflicting instruction, payment issue, legal concern, or evidence that the representative is not authorized.
Ownership Transfers
Requests to transfer ownership may require written approval from the current account owner, proof of payment authority, confirmation from alliance leadership, or other reasonable verification. LOJ Alliances may refuse or delay a transfer if ownership is unclear.
Disputes
If two or more parties claim control over the same page, account, domain, hosted files, or service, LOJ Alliances may pause changes, restrict access, disable disputed content, or keep the current account state until the parties provide clear written direction or legally sufficient proof.
Domains, Hosting, and Source Files
Ownership of domains, hosting accounts, source files, templates, working files, design systems, and final deliverables depends on what was purchased and who controls the relevant account. A hosted page on LOJ Alliances infrastructure does not automatically transfer ownership of server accounts, internal tools, templates, or source systems.
Responsibility for Content
The account owner is responsible for ensuring that submitted content is accurate, authorized, lawful, and appropriate. This includes alliance names, player names, images, profile links, payment links, social media links, age-sensitive references, and third-party marks.
