Security and Credential Handling
Effective date: July 15, 2026. This policy explains how LOJ Alliances expects customers and staff to handle passwords, account access, payment details, and other sensitive information.
Do Not Send Sensitive Credentials Unnecessarily
Customers should not send passwords, recovery codes, two-factor authentication codes, private keys, full payment card numbers, bank logins, government IDs, or other highly sensitive information unless it is specifically required and an appropriate sharing method has been agreed.
Limited Access
If access is needed to perform a service, customers should use temporary credentials, limited-permission accounts, separate collaborator access, or other restricted methods whenever available. Do not provide more access than the task requires.
Changing Passwords After Work
If temporary credentials are shared for setup, support, hosting, domain work, or page installation, the customer should change those credentials after the work is complete. The customer remains responsible for securing accounts they own or control.
Payment Security
LOJ Alliances uses third-party payment providers when accepting payment. Customers should not send full card numbers, CVV codes, bank passwords, PayPal passwords, Square passwords, or similar payment credentials by email, chat, social message, or website form.
Security Incidents
If you believe a page, account, payment, domain, or hosted service has been compromised, contact support@loj-alliances.com quickly with the relevant details. LOJ Alliances may temporarily restrict access, pause changes, disable links, or take other reasonable steps to limit damage.
No Absolute Guarantee
LOJ Alliances uses reasonable safeguards, but no server, website, hosting provider, email account, social platform, payment provider, or messaging service can be guaranteed completely secure. Customers should use strong passwords, two-factor authentication, trusted devices, and updated contact information.
